Peripheral Vascular Disease is a severe disease state that is underdiagnosed and under treated. The NCVH Fellows course is designed to introduce and expand the diagnosis and treatment of PAD and life threatening CLI. Course learning methods include didactic lectures, hands-on simulation training and a hands on cadaver lab. In addition to the Fellows Course you will receive three days of live case demonstrations and intense rapid fire educational lectures at the New Cardiovascular Horizons Annual Conference. Hands on training is the hallmark of the NCVH Fellows Course. NCVH dedicates the second day of the Fellows Course to scheduled rotations where each Fellow goes through hands on cadaver and simulator training on multiple devices and techniques. This hands on training includes everything from access to closure. This added experience includes world-class facilitators for ultrasound pedal and popliteal access and simulation training for AAA, SFA, renal and carotid interventions.
