NCVH Fellows Course

The NCVH Fellows Course “Complex Strategies in Peripheral Interventions” is an opportunity for fellows in their final two years of interventional cardiology, interventional radiology or vascular surgery to learn from world-renowned faculty members and masters in the field of peripheral interventions. Learning methods include didactic lectures along with hands-on and simulation training followed by three days of live case demonstrations and intense rapid fire educational lectures at the New Cardiovascular Horizons Annual Conference.

Educational Highlights
  • Didactic lectures by masters in the field of peripheral interventions
  • Faculty members from interventional cardiology, interventional radiology and vascular surgery
  • Rotating hands-on workshops with simulator, 3-D models and product demonstrations interspersed during didactic lectures
  • “Ask the Experts” one-on-one question and answer session with course faculty members
Intensive Hands-on Training

Four hours of comprehensive hands-on training at the beautiful 20,000 square foot Isidore Cohn, Jr., MD Learning Center at the LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine campus, located just blocks from The Roosevelt Hotel.

This added experience will include world-class faculty from LSU featuring a cadaver lab for ultrasound pedal and popliteal access and simulation training for AAA, SFA, renal and carotid interventions.

NCVH is adjusting as new information becomes available every day. It is our goal to promote the safety and health of the medical community we serve. Current CDC movement and travel restrictions have been extended through April 30, 2020. We want to share current updates regarding NCVH events.

The NCVH Annual Conference, New Orleans, scheduled for May 26 to May 29, 2020, has been postponed. We do have a target date of late July 2020. Currently, all registrations, faculty assignments, and sponsorship participation are pending new date selection. Once the new dates are selected, each registered attendee, faculty member, and sponsor contact will be notified by e-mail, and your options, should changes be necessary.
